Paradise Taveuni Dental/Medical Mission.   2023

We will be Hosted by Paradise Taveuni Resort. This mission consists of a full dental operatory of general dentists who will work with our Aseptico units at a field operatory at Paradise Taveuni, complete with autoclaving capability. All of the dental supplies are provided by the foundation.

We currently need:

The team of general medical specialists will travel daily  to several rural island villages for the purpose of providing general medical care as well as screening patients as surgical candidates at the Taveuni Hospital in the following weeks. Our optometric teams, using rudimentary equipment, provide primary eye care including assessing for eye pathology, providing treatment of eye disease when possible, referring for cataract and other eye surgeries when indicated, and providing reading glasses and protective sunglasses.

 Includes:

• round trip air, LAX to Taveuni, Fiji, inclusive of all taxes and surcharges, economy class
• internal land and boat transfers
• accommodation at Paradise Resort Taveuni and three meals daily
• all applicable temporary medical and dental licenses
• transport while in Fiji

Not included: diving, snorkeling and gift shop items
