Vanua Levu Eye, Women’s Health & Medical Mission — 2027
Join the Loloma Foundation team in Vanua Levu, Fiji, for a week of compassionate, community-based care.
Our general medical specialists travel daily to rural island villages to provide primary medical care and identify patients who may be candidates for surgery at Savusavu Hospital in the weeks that follow.
Our optometry teams provide essential eye care using limited-resource equipment. Services include eye-health assessments, treatment of eye disease when possible, referrals for cataract and other surgical care when indicated, and the distribution of reading glasses and protective sunglasses.
Accommodations
Volunteers will stay at Koro Sun Resort & Rainforest Spa, a 160-acre sanctuary on Vanua Levu. Surrounded by lush tropical rainforest and clear, warm waters, the resort offers an authentic Fijian experience in an unforgettable setting.
