Vanua Levu Eye/Women's Health/Medical Mission. 2025
The team of general medical specialists will travel daily to several rural island villages for the purpose of providing general medical care as well as screening patients as surgical candidates at the Savusavu Hospital in the following weeks. Our optometric teams, using rudimentary equipment, provide primary eye care including assessing for eye pathology, providing treatment of eye disease when possible, referring for cataract and other eye surgeries when indicated, and providing reading glasses and protective sunglasses.
